Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) invites sealed bids from eligible manufacturers, authorized dealers, distributors, suppliers, or firms for the procurement of 3 types of empty cylinders. This procurement is specifically for the Supply Chain Management Directorate at HIT Taxila Cantt, Punjab. Items being procured: - NIV Cylinder for DA Gas, Quantity: 8, Make: Shangdong/Hengsheng, COO: China, Material: Hardened Steel, Size Capacity: 6.8 Cu.M at 2000 psi, Functional/Worthiness certified from POL - NIV Cylinder for Oxygen Gas, Quantity: 22, Make: Shangdong/Hengsheng, COO: China, Material: Hardened Steel, Size Capacity: 9.8 Cu.M at 2000 psi, Functional/Worthiness certified from POL - NIV Cylinder for Argon Gas, Quantity: 20, Make: Shangdong/Hengsheng, COO: China, Material: Hardened Steel, Size Capacity: 6.8 Cu.M at 2000 psi, Functional/Worthiness certified from POL The delivery period is 3 months after signing of contract with destination at Tank Manufacture Factory, HIT Taxila. Bidders must submit one advance sample of each item before technical scrutiny. The procurement follows PPRA and Ministry of Defence Production (MoDP) rules. Bids must be submitted in two envelopes: Technical Proposal (with muted bid security) and Financial Proposal (with actual bid security). Technical proposals will be opened first for scrutiny, followed by financial proposals of technically qualified bidders. Eligibility criteria include valid NTN, Sales Tax Registration, and compliance with DPP&I-35. Firms must not be blacklisted or debarred and must provide audited financial reports for the last 3 years, bank statements, CNIC copies, and other required documents. Bid security is required as per instructions, with 2% or 5% of quoted value depending on registration status. Postal order of Rs 2000/- must be enclosed with the technical bid.
