Tender Description
The Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) invites bids for the procurement of 62,500 metric tons +/- 5% Molso of Long Grain White Rice (IRRI-6) 100% Broken Double Polished on CIF Free Out Dakar, Senegal and Banjul, The Gambia basis in break bulk or containerized shipments for the financial year 2026-27. Items being procured:
- 62,500 Metric Tons +/- 5% Molso of Long Grain White Rice (IRRI-6) 100% Broken Double Polished
The procurement will be conducted using the Single Stage Two Envelope procedure adopting Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in line with the Public Procurement Rules, 2004. Bidders must submit bids accompanied by Bid Security in the form of Banker's Cheque or Bank Guarantee as specified in the bidding documents. The bidding documents, including detailed terms, conditions, specifications, and requirements, are available on the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) at https://epads.gov.pk/opportunities/federal/procurements/92800. Interested bidders must register on EPADS v2.0 to participate.
E-bids must be submitted through EPADS v2.0 on or before Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 11:00 AM. The technical bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM. Manual submissions will not be entertained. Bidders not registered on the new version of EPADS v2.0 may register at https://vendors.epads.gov.pk/. Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC) is notified for this procurement as per Rule 48 of Public Procurement Rules, 2004. Notification copy is available on the procuring agency's website and the Authority's website at www.ppra.org.pk.
