Tender Description
The Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the procurement of Aerial Bundled Cables 10mm under Tender No. 1968/26 with contract reference P95524 for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is planned for delivery at Regional Store HESCO Hyderabad/Jamshoro and Nawabshah with a delivery schedule of 90 days. Items being procured:
- Aerial Bundled Cables 10mm (quantity: 1225/Km)
The cables must conform to WAPDA/PPMC/NTDC standard Specification No. DDS-82:2007 (amended to date). The procurement will be conducted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 using a National Single Stage-One Envelope procedure with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. Bidders must be registered with FBR, on the Active Taxpayers List, and pre-qualified with HESCO/DISCOs/NTDC/PPMC/WAPDA in the relevant category. A bid security in the form of Pay Order, Call at Deposit, Bank Guarantee, or Demand Draft is mandatory and must be submitted physically before the bid submission deadline.
The technical scope includes supply of cables manufactured with prime materials, inspected jointly by Chief Engineer (MI) PPMC Lahore and HESCO representatives. Inspection fees and all related expenses are borne by the supplier. Delivery is on Free Consignee Stores (FCS) basis at HESCO Regional Stores. Partial deliveries and payments are allowed. Warranty period is 12 months from completion of supply, with replacement and repair obligations on the supplier.
Key dates include bid submission deadline on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at 11:00 AM and bid opening at 11:30 AM the same day via EPADS v2.0. Manual submissions are not accepted. Bidders are advised to register on EPADS v2.0 and ensure compliance with all bidding document requirements to avoid disqualification.
