Tender Description
The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) at Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore is procuring a Cable Route Tracer to enhance its underground cable detection capabilities. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2025-26 and aims to equip the airport with advanced equipment for locating and tracing underground electrical cables efficiently.
The technical scope includes the supply of a high-quality Cable Route Tracer/Detector assembly with accessories such as receiver, transmitter, clamp, and other OEM recommended items. The equipment must comply with stringent technical specifications including a high-impact thermo plastic housing, a display screen larger than 2.6 inches, battery life exceeding 11 hours, and operational modes covering power, metal, and radio frequencies. Depth measurement capability must exceed 8 feet with vibration and sound alerts, multiple antennas, and output power of at least 1 watt.
Eligible bidders must be registered with FBR and ATL, possess relevant PEC categories if applicable, and demonstrate experience in supplying similar equipment. Joint ventures or consortiums are not allowed for this tender. Bidders must submit their bids electronically via EPADS v2.0 and provide a physical copy of the bid security to the Allama Iqbal International Airport office in Lahore before the deadline.
The bid submission deadline is Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 11:00 AM, with bid opening scheduled for 11:30 AM the same day.
