Tender Description
Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) invites bids for the procurement of Cargo Hatch Cover Material and Heavy Duty Quick Acting Cleats for the PNSC managed vessel Chitral, located in Karachi, Sindh. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and follows the Cabinet-approved Independent Procurement Policy of PNSC and relevant PPRA rules. Items being procured:
- Non Return Valve DV-DP-A (qty 20)
- Sponge Rubber 50120-0-45 (qty 20)
- Glue for Wood 1 KG (qty 30)
- Rubber Cement A-862B (qty 8)
- Corner Sponge Rubber DR-7 (qty 20)
- L-Type Sponge Rubber L232-350 0-5092-0-45 (qty 20)
- Solid Rubber LSB-98 (qty 20)
- Position Stopper PST80 (qty 20)
- Screw Bolt Cleat (M42) SB15SG (qty 10)
- Heavy Duty Quick Acting Cleat (qty 20) by Nakata Mac Corporation
The technical scope includes supply of high-quality marine-grade materials and components such as valves, rubber parts, cleats, and related spares conforming to international standards. Delivery is expected within 10 days after issuance of the purchase order and vessel arrival at port. Bidders must have a minimum of one year experience in similar supplies and comply with all eligibility criteria including FBR registration and PEC category if applicable. Bidding documents are available free of cost from PNSC during office hours or can be downloaded from the PNSC website. Bids must be submitted via email to spares.tender2@pnsc.com.pk by 07 October 2026 at 11:00 AM PKT. The technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidders who wish to attend. Earnest money and bid security requirements apply as per PPRA rules. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all technical specifications and samples (if applicable) are fully compliant and submitted timely to avoid disqualification.
