Procurement of Cochlear Implant Devices through Pakistan Bait-Ul-Mal for Mustahik Child Patients

The Pir Abdul Qadir Shah Jeelani Institute of Medical Sciences Gambat invites bids for the procurement of Cochlear Implant Devices through Pakistan Bait-Ul-Mal for Mustahik Child Patients. This procurement is aimed at supplying advanced cochlear implant devices to support hearing-impaired children in need. The procurement follows the Single Stage – Two Envelope Procedure as per Rule 46 (2) of the Sindh Public Procurement Rules, 2010. Items being procured: - Cochlear Implant Devices (100 units) with specifications including minimum 22 channels, dual microphone, straight electrode array, thinnest implant body not exceeding 3.9 mm, MRI compatibility at 3.0 Tesla with magnet removal, advanced behind-the-ear sound processor with multiple controls, rechargeable cells and battery pack, international speech coding strategy, and comprehensive product support including software and hardware. The devices must be from countries such as Australia, UK, USA, Europe, Japan or equivalent, and comply with ISO-13485 (mandatory), CE, JIS, FDA, and MHLW certifications. The warranty includes a minimum of 10 years for internal components and 3 years for external components. All necessary hardware and software for pre-operative, per-operative, and post-operative testing and programming will be provided. Bidders must meet mandatory qualification requirements including valid manufacturer authorization, compliance with technical specifications, DRAP registration, and financial and technical capability. Bid security of 1% of the total bid price is required. The bid validity period is 90 days. Delivery and installation are to be completed within 12 weeks or earlier from the date of contract award. Bids must be submitted by 15-10-2026 up to 12:00 pm at the Pir Abdul Qadir Shah Jeelani Institute of Medical Sciences Gambat. Technical bids will be opened on the same day at 12:30 pm in the Green Hall of the institute. Only technically qualified bidders will have their financial bids opened. Bidders are advised to carefully follow the bid submission instructions, ensure all mandatory documents are included, and submit separate sealed envelopes for technical and financial proposals.
