Procurement of Equipment for Fisheries and Aquaculture Laboratory at Sindh Agriculture University Tandojam

Sindh Agriculture University, Tandojam invites sealed bids for the procurement of specialized equipment for the Fisheries and Aquaculture Laboratory under the Sindh Laboratory Strengthening Program (SLSP), Department of Veterinary Parasitology, Faculty of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Sciences. This procurement is aimed at enhancing the undergraduate laboratory facilities for fisheries and aquaculture research and education in Tandojam, Sindh. Items being procured: - Grinder/Mixer with capacity up to 40 kg, heavy duty motor (0.5 to 1 horsepower), copper motor winding with warranty, AC 220V, with all accessories - Centrifuge Machine, max speed 4000 rpm, max RCF 1800 xg, capacity 8*15 ml, fixed angle rotor, refrigerated NO, digital display, AC 220V, with all accessories - Microscope (Simple-Electronic-Compound), trinocular head, 30° inclined and 360° rotatable, paired wide field 10X eyepieces, infinity corrected plan achromatic objectives (4x, 10x, 40x spring, 100x spring oil), coaxial mechanical stage, Abbe condenser, 3W or 5W LED illumination, camera port for high-resolution digital cameras, with all accessories - Dissecting Microscope, trinocular, 45° inclined, 360° rotatable, zoom range 0.7x–4.5x, total magnification 7x–45x, working distance ~100mm, 144-LED ring light, external stand pillar or boom, camera port, with all accessories - Pellet Machine for floating type pellets, production capacity 40–60 kg/h, adjustable pellet size 0.9 mm–15 mm, floating time 8–12 hours, high water stability, electric power, stainless steel material, motor 1500–3000 RPM with pure copper winding warranty, suitable for corn, soybean meal, fish meal, wheat bran, with all accessories The technical scope includes supply, delivery, installation, and commissioning of the above laboratory equipment with all essential and optional accessories, operational manuals, and catalogues. The supplier is responsible for after-sales service and warranty support as per the contract terms. Eligibility criteria require bidders to be registered with Income & Sales Tax Departments (valid NTN & STRN), have at least 5 years of relevant experience with proof of similar projects, minimum annual turnover of PKR 5 million for the last three years, valid income tax returns, manufacturer authorization, and a warranty agreement for repair and maintenance during the warranty period. Bidders must also submit a list of previous installations and an affidavit confirming the authenticity of submitted documents. The tender follows a Single Stage – Two Envelope Bidding Procedure under National Competitive Bidding rules. Tender documents are available from 13-08-2026 to 28-08-2026 upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 10,000. Bids must be submitted by 28-08-2026 before 10:00 AM at the Procurement Office, Sindh Agriculture University, Tandojam, and will be opened the same day at 11:00 AM in the presence of bidders or their representatives. Bid security of 2% of the total quoted amount is mandatory. Delivery of goods is expected within 40 days of contract award. Performance security of 5% of the contract price is required from the successful bidder. Bidders must register on the EPAD system for electronic bid submission.
