Procurement of Expendable Store for Heavy Industries Taxila

Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) invites sealed bids from eligible manufacturers, authorized dealers, distributors, suppliers, or firms for the procurement of expendable store items. This procurement is conducted under the Supply Chain Management Directorate at HIT Taxila Cantt, Punjab. Bidders must comply with PPRA and Ministry of Defence Production (MoDP) rules and submit bids in a single stage two envelope procedure. Items being procured include a comprehensive list of 42 expendable store items such as rubber grades, buckles, rubber sheets, rexine (black and green), webbing textile, foam sheets, steel chains, gaskets, fiber rods, steel tubes, aluminum alloys, hoses, sodium nitrite, plastic balls, temp gauges, electroplating heaters, and steel tubes among others. Each item is specified with part numbers, specifications, quantities, and units as detailed in the tender documents. The technical scope covers supply of brand new, specification-compliant expendable stores conforming to MIL standards and other technical requirements. Inspection and testing will be conducted by the user factory with visual, dimensional, material, fitment, and functional tests. OEM certificates and quality assurance documents are required. Delivery period is 3 months after contract signing, with destination at HRF, HIT Taxila. Eligibility criteria require valid NTN, Sales Tax registration, and compliance with DPP&I-35. Firms must submit audited financial reports for the last 3 years, bank statements, CNIC copies, trade links with OEMs, and a judicial certificate of non-blacklisting. Bid security in the form of CDR, Bank Draft, or Pay Order is mandatory. Postal order of Rs 2000/- must be enclosed with the technical bid. Key dates include bid submission by 26 Oct 2026 at 10:30 hours at Gate No 5, HIT Taxila, with bid opening at 11:00 hours the same day. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked Technical Proposal and Financial Proposal. Late submissions will not be entertained.
