Procurement of Fork Lifter 3-3.5 Tons by Heavy Industries Taxila

Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) invites sealed bids from eligible manufacturers, authorized dealers, distributors, suppliers, or firms possessing valid National Tax Number (NTN) and Sales Tax Registration for the procurement of Fork Lifter with a load capacity of 3 to 3.5 tons. The procurement is for delivery at NEVF, HIT Taxila, with a delivery period of 3 months after signing the contract. Items being procured: - Fork Lifter 3-3.5 Tons, Diesel Operated, Load Capacity 3000-3500 kg, Power Type Diesel, Tyre Type Pneumatic, Maximum Fork Height 3000-6000mm, Engine Brand Komatsu / Cummins / Toyota / Mitsubishi / Perkins / Hyundai, Number of Cylinders 4, Fuel Tank Capacity 50-60 L, and other technical specifications as per Annexure A. The technical scope includes supply of brand new diesel-powered forklifters conforming to detailed technical specifications including hydraulic and mechanical brakes, power steering, and safety features. The site is Taxila Cantt, and delivery will be inspected in presence of firm's representative. Eligibility criteria require firms to be registered with HIT or provide valid agency agreements, NTN, Sales Tax certificates, and financial audit reports for the last three years. A postal order of Rs 2000/- must be enclosed with the technical bid. Bid security in the form of CDR, Bank Draft, or Pay Order is mandatory. Bids must be submitted in two separate envelopes (technical and financial) sealed in one cover addressed to Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Shuja Chaudhry, Assistant Director Procurement, SCM Directorate, Gate No 05, Heavy Industries Taxila. The bid submission deadline is 07 September 2026 at 10:30 hours, with bid opening at 11:00 hours the same day. Late submissions will not be entertained. The tender follows PPRA and MoDP rules with a validity period of 120 days extendable to 180 days. The purchaser reserves the right to accept or reject any bid without assigning reasons.
