Procurement of Furniture for Academic Block-III at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University Shaheed Benazirabad

The Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University Shaheed Benazirabad (SBBU-SBA) invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the procurement of furniture for Academic Block-III at its main campus in Nawabshah, Sindh. This procurement is conducted under the Sindh Public Procurement Rules, 2010, using a Single Stage Two Envelope bidding procedure. The scope includes supply, delivery, and installation of various furniture items as detailed in the Bill of Quantities (BoQ). Items being procured: - Class rooms furniture for 40 students including student chairs and benches, white boards, and rostrum - Computer labs furniture including revolving computer chairs and computer tables - Furniture for Associate/Assistant Professors including book shelves, study tables, and visitors' chairs - Students sitting spaces/Common rooms tables and chairs - Furniture for Meeting Hall including high back revolving chairs and meeting tables - Notice boards of size 4'x4' - Peon benches made of solid seasoned wood The furniture is to be manufactured primarily from seasoned Mahogany, Ash, or Sheesham wood with specified dimensions and finishes including lacquer polish and powder coating for metal parts. The delivery and installation are to be completed within three months from the date of procurement order. The bidder must have at least three years of relevant experience, valid NTN, GST, and SRB registrations, and meet the minimum turnover and technical specifications as per the bid document. A 5% bid security in the form of a demand draft is required. Bids must be submitted electronically via the Sindh e-Procurement portal (EPADS) by 10:30 AM on 2nd September 2026. Technical bids will be opened at 11:00 AM on the same day. Late submissions will not be accepted. The evaluation will be based on technical compliance and the lowest evaluated cost. The Procuring Agency reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to increase or decrease quantities as per SPPRA rules.
