Procurement of Furniture for Office and Mess at R.Y. Khan Airport

The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) invites bids for the procurement of furniture for office and mess at R.Y. Khan Airport, Karachi. This procurement is conducted under PPRA Rule 36(b) using the National Single Stage-Two Envelope procedure. Items being procured include two lots with detailed furniture items as follows: - Lot-1 (Mess) Furniture: Dining Table (2 qty), Sofa Set 5 seater (5 sets), Single Bed Mattress (6 qty), Center Table Wooden with Glass Top (7 qty), Table Wooden with Glass Top (30 qty), Visitor Chair / Sitting Chair (30 qty), Dining Chair (36 qty), Single Bed (Wooden) with one side table (42 sets) - Lot-2 (Office) Furniture: Work Station (Complete) (17 qty), Almirah (Wooden) (30 qty), Medium Back Revolving Chair (37 qty), Office Table (37 qty), Visiting Chair (Wooden) (55 qty) The furniture must meet detailed technical specifications including materials such as oak veneer, beech wood, leatherette upholstery, and specific dimensions. The supplier must be a furniture manufacturer with ISO-9001 certification and have a flagship showroom in Karachi. Samples or showroom visits for technical evaluation are mandatory at no cost to PAA. Eligibility criteria require bidders to be active taxpayers on the FBR Active Taxpayer List with 100% compliance, hold valid NTN certificates, and meet all qualification criteria. Joint ventures and consortiums are not allowed. Bid security amounts are specified for each lot. Bids must be submitted electronically via the PPRA EPADS portal, with physical copies of bid security submitted before the deadline. Technical and financial bids are to be submitted in separate sealed envelopes. The bid validity period is 180 days. The contract includes a performance guarantee of 10% of the contract price, liquidated damages for late delivery up to 10%, and a warranty period of one year.
