Procurement of Furniture for University of Swabi (HEC Funded) 2026

The University of Swabi invites sealed bids from original manufacturers registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments and listed on the Active Tax Payers List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for the procurement of furniture under HEC funding for the year 2026. This procurement is specifically for the University of Swabi located in Swabi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Items being procured: - Furniture for University of Swabi (specific items not detailed in the notice). The procurement will follow the Single Stage Two Envelopes Procedure. Bidders must be registered with FBR for Income Tax and Sales Tax and also registered with the EPADS (E-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System). A bid security of 2% of the bid value in the form of CDR/BID security from scheduled banks in favor of Treasurer University of Swabi is mandatory. The original bid security must reach the office of Director P&D, University of Swabi, Anbar Swabi by 02-09-2026 at 11:00 AM. Scanned copies of the bid security must be attached with bids on EPADS. Bids without earnest money on EPADS will not be entertained. Technical bids will be opened on 02-09-2026 at 11:30 AM and evaluated as per KPPRA rules. Only technically qualified firms will have their financial bids opened. Taxes will be deducted as per government rules. Incomplete or delayed bids will be rejected. Firms involved in litigation with any government department are not eligible. A non-refundable bid processing fee of Rs.3000/- must be deposited in the University of Swabi's official bank account (UBL Main Branch Swabi). Interested bidders should quote rates for each item and submit required samples as per bidding documents. Clarifications can be sought from the office of the undersigned during office hours. The University reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids as per KPPRA rules.
