Procurement of General Store Items for Central Ordnance Depot Rawalpindi

The Central Ordnance Depot Rawalpindi is inviting sealed bids for the procurement of general store items under the fiscal year 2026-27. This procurement is specifically for the supply of general store items required by the Pakistan Army and Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) approved suppliers. The tender is open to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), agents of OEMs, authorized distributors, and suppliers registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments, active on the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Active Taxpayer List (ATL), and registered with the Directorate General Defense Purchase (DGDP) or Directorate General Procurement-Army (DGP-A). Items being procured: - General Store Items as per Schedule of Requirements given in Annexure A to C The technical scope includes supply of required stores, goods, and equipment as detailed in the technical specifications provided in Annexure G. Bidders must submit their bids in two separate sealed envelopes clearly marked as TECHNICAL PROPOSAL and FINANCIAL PROPOSAL along with a separate envelope for Vendor Profile / Qualification Documents as per Annexure E. The bids must be delivered to the Central Ordnance Depot Rawalpindi, Fort Road, Rawalpindi Cantonment before 1030 hours on 31 July 2026. The opening of bids will take place the same day at 1100 hours in the Conference Room of the Central Ordnance Depot Rawalpindi. Eligibility criteria require firms to be registered with PEC, FBR, and DGDP/DGP-A, and to provide Earnest Money in the form of Bid Security equal to 5% of the estimated bid value within five working days of intimation. Procurement is planned within the Current Financial Year and quantities may be amended at the time of order placement. A key practical tip for bidders is to ensure collection of specifications and relevant documents from the Local Purchase Branch COD Rawalpindi before submission, as firms without these documents will not be allowed to participate. Also, ensure all technical, financial, and qualification documents are complete and submitted in separate sealed envelopes to avoid outright rejection.
