Procurement of General Store Items for Central Ordnance Depot Rawalpindi FY-2026/27

The Central Ordnance Depot Rawalpindi invites bids for the procurement of General Store Items for the financial year 2026/27. This procurement is planned within the current financial year and may be in full or part quantities, which can be amended or decreased at the time of placing the order. The procurement follows the Single Stage, Two Envelope Process as specified in PPRA Regulations. Items being procured include general store items as detailed in the Schedule of Requirements (Annexure A). Bidders must submit Technical Proposal, Financial Proposal, and Vendor Profile / Qualification Documents in separate sealed envelopes clearly marked as 'TECHNICAL PROPOSAL - IT for procurement of Ord Stores 10/ Normal / 2026-27' and 'FINANCIAL PROPOSAL - IT for procurement of Ord Stores 10/ Normal / 2026-27' along with the name of the bidding firm/entity. Vendor Profile / Qualification Documents must also be submitted separately as per Annexure C. The technical scope includes supply of required stores/goods/equipment for relevant stores as per specifications given in Annexure E. Bidders must be Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), agents of OEMs, authorized distributors and suppliers registered with Income Tax & Sales Tax Departments, active on the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Active Taxpayer List (ATL), and registered with Directorate General Defense Purchase (DGDP) and Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for supply of items. Bid Security equal to 5% of the estimated bid value is required within five working days of intimation from the Central Ordnance Depot Rawalpindi, failing which bids will be rejected. Complete set of IT documents can be obtained from the Local Purchase Office, COD Rawalpindi, Fort Road Rawalpindi on any working day between 0830 hrs and 1530 hrs. Bids must be delivered to Central Ordnance Depot Rawalpindi, Fort Road, Rawalpindi Cantonment before 1030 hrs on 09 Sep 2026. For participating in the tender, collection of specifications and relevant documents from the Local Purchase Branch COD Rawalpindi is mandatory. Failure to submit complete documents or proposals as required will lead to outright rejection. Bidders are reminded that all bids are bound by Official Secret Act to ensure confidentiality. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that all envelopes are clearly marked and properly sealed with all required documents including digital copies on CDs/DVDs packed in respective envelopes.
