Tender Description
Pakistan Railways, through its Chief Controller of Purchase at the Headquarters Office in Lahore, invites sealed bids for the procurement of two types of graphite electrodes required for electric arc furnace operations. This tender is specifically for the supply of Graphite Carbon Electrodes HP300 and Electrode Graphite 228.6 to 230mm (9 inches) x 1524mm x 50mm, with a total quantity of 64,032 kilograms each. Items being procured:
- Graphite Carbon Electrodes HP300 (Diameter: 304 ± 2mm, Length: 1800 ± 100mm, Resistivity ≤ 7.0 µΩ m, Flexural Strength ≥ 10.5 Mpa, Elastic Modulus ≤ 12.00 Gpa, Bulk Density ≥ 1.62g/cm3, Thermal Expansion Coefficient ≤ 2.4 x 10-6/°C, Ash Content ≤ 0.3%)
- Electrode Graphite 228.6 to 230mm x 1524mm x 50mm (Specific resistance 0.000157 ohm cm, Apparent density 1.52 g/cm3, Tensile strength lengthwise 35 Kg/cm2, Crosswise 25 Kg/cm2, Practical Oxidation 480°C, Ash 0.50%)
The procurement is on DDP/FOB basis with delivery periods of 2 months for DDP and 3 months for FOB. Bidders must be original manufacturers or authorized sole agents and provide manufacturer authorization letters. Technical literature and compliance with detailed technical specifications are mandatory.
