Tender Description
The Pakistan Airports Authority invites sealed bids for the procurement of handrails of escalators at JIAP Karachi for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is managed by the Logistic Section of JIAP, which has reserved funds specifically for this purpose under reference P95959.
Items being procured:
- Handrails of Escalators
The procurement will be conducted using the Single Stage-Two Envelope method with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique, in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules 2004 and related regulations. Bidders must submit their bids electronically via the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0, as manual submissions will not be accepted.
All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a Pay Order or Bank Guarantee, or alternatively a bid securing declaration as specified in the bidding documents. Detailed bidding documents including terms, conditions, specifications, and requirements are available on the EPADS portal at https://epads.gov.pk/opportunities/federal/procurements/95959. Interested bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 to participate.
The deadline for bid submission is Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening scheduled for the same day at 11:30 AM via EPADS v2.0. In compliance with Rule 48 of the Public Procurement Rules 2004, a Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC) has been notified for this procurement. Notification copies are available on the procuring agency's and the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority's websites.
