Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the procurement of IT equipment for the Indus Telemetry Project Office located in Lahore under the Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA). The procurement covers a range of IT hardware including desktop computers, laptops, UPS units, printers, and software subscriptions such as Microsoft 365 Premium and Adobe Acrobat Pro for two years. The equipment is intended to support office use and data processing for the project, ensuring robust and efficient operations.
The technical specifications demand high-performance devices such as Intel Core i7 desktops with hybrid architecture, 16GB DDR5 memory, and 1TB NVMe SSDs. Laptops must feature the latest generation AI-accelerated processors, 16GB RAM, and 1TB storage, suitable for field teams and office staff. Printers include mono and color laserjet models with high capacity and multifunction capabilities. The UPS units are rated at 1 KVA or higher to ensure uninterrupted power supply. All items come with a minimum one-year warranty and OEM authorization.
Bidders must comply with PEC category requirements and be on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL) for the fiscal year 2025-26. They should have at least two years of relevant experience and provide an affidavit confirming no blacklisting for fraud or tax evasion. Bid security in the form of a pay order is mandatory. The procurement follows the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) method under the Public Procurement Rules, 2004.
The submission deadline is set for Tuesday, 17 March 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening at 11:30 AM on the same day via the EPADS v2.0 online portal. Physical submission of bid security is required at Room No.536, WAPDA House, Lahore. Bidders must register on EPADS v2.0 prior to submission. All bids must be submitted electronically; manual submissions will be disqualified.
