Procurement of Miscellaneous Items by Karachi Metropolitan University

Karachi Metropolitan University invites sealed bids through online submission on the e-procurement portal from reputed firms who must be registered and active taxpayers with applicable tax authorities and have relevant experience and capabilities as per the bidding document. Items being procured: - Miscellaneous Items This procurement involves a contract period of 12 months. The earnest money/bid security is fixed at PKR 135,000 and the tender fee is PKR 3,000. The tender procedure follows a Single Stage One Envelope system. Tender documents can be obtained during office hours upon payment of a non-refundable and non-transferable tender fee of Rs. 3,000 in the form of a pay order in favor of Karachi Metropolitan University from the Procurement department office or downloaded from the official KMU website www.thekmu.edu.pk or the Sindh Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (SPPRA) official EPADS portal www.eprocure.gov.pk. Bids must be submitted online on the EPADS portal by 29-10-2026 at 11:00 am, with opening scheduled for 29-10-2026 at 11:30 am. Original bid security and tender fee must be submitted in sealed envelopes at the Procurement Manager's office, KMU Main Campus, North Nazimabad Block M, Karachi. All bidders must submit valid NTN and GST certificates along with required documents as per bidding documents. Bids must be stamped and signed. All applicable federal, provincial, and local taxes shall be borne by the bidder/supplier. The procurement agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids subject to SPPRA Rules 2010 (Amended 2025). Bidders must include an affidavit on judicial stamp paper of Rs. 500 stating they are not blacklisted by any government or semi-government entity. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your bid security is in the form of a Pay Order or Bank Demand Draft/Bank Guarantee as only these forms are acceptable.
