Tender Description
The Sukkur Electric Power Company (SEPCO) invites sealed bids on a Single Stage-One Envelope basis for the procurement of Power Cable 1000-MCM and Power Cable 500-MCM under National Competitive Bidding (NCB) for the fiscal year 2026-27. This procurement is planned under SEPCO's own resources and will be executed in Sukkur, Sindh. The items being procured include:
- Power Cable 1000-MCM Single Core, Quantity: 5 Km
- Power Cable 500-MCM Single Core, Quantity: 9 Km
The cables must comply with the latest NTDC specifications and IEC standards. Delivery is required at the SEPCO Warehouse near 132KV Grid Station, Arain Road, Sukkur within 120 days or earlier from the date of issuance of the Purchase Order. Partial deliveries are allowed with partial payments accordingly. Bidders must be registered manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, or authorized dealers and meet eligibility criteria including financial soundness, manufacturing experience of at least 5 years, and satisfactory operational experience certificates. Bid security of 2% of the total bid amount excluding GST is mandatory. Bids must be submitted electronically through the EPADS v2.0 portal by 29th September 2026 at 01:30 PM, with original bid security submitted physically before the deadline at the SEPCO office in Sukkur. Bids will be opened on the same day at 02:00 PM via EPADS v2.0. The evaluation will be based on Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. Bidders are advised to carefully review the bidding documents, ensure compliance with all technical and financial requirements, and submit complete documentation including power of attorney, schedules, and non-blacklisting undertakings.
