Tender Description
The Department of Elementary & Secondary Education in Muzaffarabad, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, invites sealed bids from furniture manufacturers registered with Sales Tax and Income Tax Departments of AJ&K and Government of Pakistan. The procurement is for school furniture to be supplied on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis to all districts of AJ&K. Items being procured:
- Procurement of School Furniture
The tender follows a Single Stage-one envelope procedure in accordance with the AJ&K Public Procurement Rules, 2017. Tender documents are available from the office of the Senior Chief Planning Cell E&SE at the district complex L-Block Muzaffarabad from 08:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday upon submission of a written application on original firm/company letterhead and payment of a non-refundable fee of PKR 5000. The bid security of PKR 300,000 must be submitted in the form of CDR, Bank Draft, or Pay Order in favor of Senior Chief, Planning Cell, Elementary and Secondary Education Department AJ&K Muzaffarabad along with the financial bid, without which the offer will be rejected.
The procuring agency reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities by up to 15% as per variation in current year requirements and may reject any or all bids prior to acceptance. Complete supply with approved specifications must be delivered to respective institutions within 120 days from the contract date. All bidders must provide a certificate affirming non-blacklisted status and absence of conflicts with the government in any territory within AJ&K, Federally Administered Areas, or Pakistan. This tender notice is also available on the AJ&K PPRA website (www.ppra.ajk.gov.pk). Evaluation reports and contract awards will be displayed on the AJKPPRA website.
Bidders should ensure timely submission by the deadline of 15-10-2026. A practical tip is to carefully prepare the bid security and ensure all tax registrations and certifications are up to date to avoid disqualification.
