Procurement of Solid State, Mild Steel & Mechanical and Engineering Materials & Consumables and Raw Material for Manufacturing of Shop Made Items for Pakistan Railways Projects

Pakistan Railways Signal Workshops has reserved funds for procurement planned for FY 2026-27. The procurement is for manufacturing shop made items for two major projects: Thar Rail Connectivity Project (TRCP) and Long-SDR Signal Gear Project. Items being procured: - Solid State, Mild Steel, Mechanical and Engineering Materials & Consumables for manufacturing shop made items for TRCP - Raw Material for manufacturing shop made items for replacement of old and obsolete signal gear for Long-SDR project The procurement will be conducted through sealed bids from eligible bidders using the Single Stage-Two Envelope method adopting Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in line with Public Procurement Rules 2004. Bidders must provide bid security as described in the bidding documents in the form of Pay Order, Banker's Cheque, or Call Deposit. Bidding documents with detailed terms, conditions, specifications, and requirements are available on the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) portal. Bidders must register on EPADS v2.0 to participate. E-bids must be submitted through EPADS v2.0 on or before Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 11:30 AM. Bids will be opened the same day at 12:00 PM. Manual submissions will not be entertained. Vendors not registered on EPADS may register at the provided vendor portal. A tutorial explaining the registration process is available on YouTube. This procurement is managed by Pakistan Railways Signal Workshops, Lahore. Interested bidders should ensure compliance with all requirements and timely submission.
