Tender Description
The Secretariat of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh, located at Court Road, Karachi, is procuring a comprehensive range of stationary items for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement covers a wide variety of office supplies including ball pens, pencils, staplers, paper of various sizes and weights, registers, toner cartridges, calculators, and other essential stationary goods. The procurement is intended to support the administrative functions of the Secretariat and ensure smooth office operations throughout the year.
The technical scope includes supply of branded and equivalent quality items such as Piano Plane ball pens, Schneider Ultra pencils, Pelikan highlighters, Double A paper, and original HP toner cartridges among others. The delivery schedule requires completion within 7 days from the date of work order, with quarterly purchases based on budget availability. All items must comply with the specifications and quality standards outlined in the tender documents.
Eligible bidders must have at least five years of relevant experience, valid registration with Federal Board of Revenue and Sindh Revenue Board, and a minimum annual turnover of Rs. 60 million. Submission of earnest money amounting to 5% of the total bid value in the form of bank draft or CDR is mandatory. Bidders must also provide audited financial statements, tax returns for the last five years, and ensure physical presence in Sindh province.
The tender documents can be obtained upon payment of Rs. 3000 as non-refundable fee until 10:00 AM on 08.07.2026. The original bid security and tender fee must be submitted physically by 10:30 AM on the same day. Bids will be opened at 11:00 AM on 08.07.2026 in the Committee Room of the Secretariat. The quoted rates should be inclusive of all applicable taxes including Income Tax and Sindh Revenue Board taxes.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that all required documents including the signed and stamped specifications comparison chart, tax certificates, and affidavits regarding litigation and blacklisting are complete and submitted timely.
