Procurement of Tow Truck 20-33 KN on FOR Basis by Heavy Industries Taxila

Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) invites sealed bids from reputed firms possessing NTN certificates for the procurement of a Tow Truck with a towing capacity of 20-33 KN on FOR basis. This procurement is managed by the Supply Chain Management Directorate at HIT Taxila Cantt, Punjab. The tender requires delivery within 3 months after signing the contract. Items being procured: - Tow Truck 20-33 KN (Qty: 1 Nos) as per detailed technical specifications in Annexure A including diesel/battery power type, manual/automatic transmission, towing capacity 2000-3300 kg, solid rubber tyres, hydraulic/electromagnetic brakes, and engine brands such as Toyota, Mitsubishi, Cummins, Perkins, Komatsu, or Hyundai. The technical scope includes compliance with detailed parameters such as rated tow capacity of 20 tons, hydraulic winch system, heavy-duty chassis, engine power of 350-450 hp, dual hydraulic outriggers for stability, emergency stop controls, and after-sale services including one year free repair and maintenance. The supplier must provide OEM certificates, quality certifications, and warranty bank guarantees. Eligibility criteria include firms not blacklisted or defaulter, possessing valid registrations with HIT and government tax authorities, and submitting earnest money in the form of a postal order of Rs 2000/- with the technical bid. Key dates include bid submission by 28 October 2026 at 10:30 hours at Gate No. 5, Heavy Industries Taxila, and bid opening at 11:00 hours the same day. Bids must be submitted in two sealed envelopes (technical and financial proposals) placed inside one sealed envelope.
