Procurement of Vertical Double Spindle CNC Radial Drill Machine and Upgradation of Air Compressor Test Bench by Heavy Industries Taxila

Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) invites sealed bids from eligible manufacturers, authorized dealers, distributors, suppliers, or firms possessing valid National Tax Number (NTN), Sales Tax Registration, and fulfilling eligibility criteria as per DPP&I-35 and MoDP rules for procurement of machinery and upgradation of equipment in Taxila Cantt, Punjab. The procurement consists of two separate tenders: IT-7165 for the supply and installation of a Vertical Double Spindle CNC Radial Drill Machine (Model ZYZ-126 by SMTCL) and IT-7166 for the upgradation of an Air Compressor Test Bench (manufacturer M/s Norinco). Items being procured: - Vertical Double Spindle CNC Radial Drill Machine (ZYZ-126 Model Double Columns Floor Type CNC Drilling and Milling Machine) with specifications including 3 axis linear guide way, 8000rpm belt drive spindle BT40, bed size, spindle taper hole ISO 24, max drilling diameter Ø50mm, max face milling cutter Ø100mm, spindle speed 0-800 RPM, spindle torque 500 N.m, main motor 22 KW, and workbench area 6000 x 2200 mm. - Upgradation of Air Compressor Test Bench with parameters: oil pressure 0.20-0.54 MPa, oil temperature 80 ±5 °C, air intake pressure 0.083-0.12 MPa, crankshaft power requirement 2.57 kW. The Vertical Double Spindle CNC Boring Machine is to be installed and commissioned at Shop-1A, with peripherals and MUA already available. The commissioning will enable machining operations on turret without additional hardware costs and reduce dependency on TMF. The Air Compressor Test Bench upgradation includes transportation, installation, commissioning, and local training. Eligibility criteria include valid registration with HIT/DGP/MoDP/Govt/Semi Govt organizations, NTN, Sales Tax registration, audit reports for last 3 financial years, bank statements, CNIC of CEO/Director, OEM trade link, and a judicial certificate of non-blacklisting. Bid security in the form of CDR, Bank Draft, or Pay Order is mandatory. Bids must be submitted in two separate envelopes (Technical and Financial) sealed in one cover, with postal order of Rs 2000/- enclosed with the Technical Bid. Key dates: Bid submission and opening on 02 Sep 2026 at 10:30 and 11:00 hours respectively at Gate No 5, Heavy Industries Taxila, Taxila Cantt. Technical proposals will be opened first, followed by financial proposals of technically accepted bids. Late submissions will not be entertained. Bidders must comply with all mandatory conditions, including bid validity of 120 days extendable to 180 days, submission of performance bank guarantee, and adherence to warranty and inspection requirements. The warranty period is 12 months after acceptance. HIT reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without assigning reasons.
