This tender is specifically for the Pakistan Navy to meet their fire fighting and water supply requirements. The Water Tender must be fully loaded with the latest specifications as per OEM standards and comply with NFPA-1901, 2016 edition.
Items being procured:
- Water Tender with 20,000-22,000 liters capacity tank
- Truck chassis with engine capacity of 340 HP or more (ISUZU, HINO, NISSAN, DAEWOO)
- Fire pump with capacity of 2000 Ltr/min or more at 10 bars discharge pressure
- Foam tank of 750 liters for AFFF (3%) storage
- Accessories including LED warning light bar with PA system, suction hoses, brass suction strainer, fire hoses, nozzles, hydraulic jack, fire extinguisher, and protective clothing for firemen
The technical scope includes a right-hand drive truck chassis with Euro-II compliant engine, full air dual circuit brake system with ABS, power assisted steering, rear view camera, and corrosion resistant galvanized carbon steel water tank. The water pump must be centrifugal type, imported from reputed manufacturers, and the vehicle must meet European safety standards with dual airbags.
Eligibility criteria require firms to be registered with DGDP or willing to register, active on FBR's Active Taxpayers List (ATL), and provide earnest money as per tender conditions. Technical and commercial offers must be submitted in separate sealed envelopes as per the Single Stage Two Envelope bidding procedure. The tender closing date is **24th September 2026** with opening at 11:00 hours. Offers must be delivered to the Directorate of Procurement (Navy) through Bahria Gate, Near SNIDS Centre, Naval Residential Complex, Sector E-8, Islamabad.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure all required forms DP-1, DP-2, and DP-3 are duly filled, signed, and attached with the technical offer along with the earnest money in a separate envelope to avoid rejection. Also, provide clear compliance remarks against each technical specification to facilitate smooth technical scrutiny.
This procurement offers a significant opportunity for qualified suppliers to provide a critical asset to the Pakistan Navy with clear guidelines on submission, evaluation, and contract conditions.
