Tender Description
The Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) at Power Station Tarbela invites eligible bidders to participate in the procurement of White Metal specifically for the Turbine Guide Bearing, Unit No. 7. This procurement is planned under the FY 2026-27 budget and will be conducted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) version 2.0, ensuring a transparent and efficient bidding process.

The technical scope involves supplying high-quality white metal suitable for turbine guide bearings at the Tarbela Power Station. Bidders must ensure compliance with the specifications detailed in the bidding documents available on the EPADS portal. The procurement will follow the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules, 2004.
Eligibility criteria include valid PEC registration, FBR/ATL compliance, and submission of earnest money in the form of a Pay Order, Banker's Cheque, Call Deposit, or Bank Guarantee as bid security. Insurance guarantees are not acceptable. The bid security amount is PKR 150,000. Hard copies of bid security must reach the office of the Chief Engineer (Power), WAPDA, Tarbela before the bid closing time.
Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS by 1100 Hrs on 25-08-2026. The bid opening will occur on the same day at 1130 Hrs. Manual submissions will not be entertained. Vendors not registered on EPADS v2.0 are advised to register promptly. A tutorial for registration is available on YouTube.
