Tender for Various Repair and Maintenance Works by Military Engineer Services Rawalpindi

The Military Engineer Services (MES) Rawalpindi invites applications for pre-qualification of contractors and firms for various repair and maintenance works under PPRA Rule 13 (1) of 2004. These works are to be executed in Rawalpindi and surrounding areas. The items being procured include: - TC for Internal/External Electrical Work E&M-1 Sub Division - TC for Water Supply & Sur Gas Works E&M-II Sub Division - TC for Building & Road Works B&R-II Sub Division (Zone-I & II) - TC for Building & Road Works B&R-I Sub Division (Zone-III & IV) - Miscellaneous Repair and Maintenance Works - Miscellaneous Electrical Works - Repair and Maintenance of Furniture Items The scope covers technical and civil repair works including electrical installations, water supply, gas works, building and road maintenance, and furniture repairs. Contractors enlisted with MES in categories 'A, B, C & D' are eligible to apply. Applicants must submit complete credentials by 12 October 2026 for issuance of tender documents. Tender documents will be issued only to firms with sufficient relevant experience and meeting special conditions for the job and area. Tender submissions must be received by 1130 hours on 22 October 2026 and will be opened the same day at 1200 hours. Non-listed contractors must provide proof of financial standing, bank certificates, staff details, tools and plant information, and previous experience for the last two years, attested by a Class-1 Gazetted Officer. A 2% earnest money deposit of the estimated cost in the form of FDR pledged to GE DFHQ Chaklala is required from non-approved contractors. This amount is refundable if the contractor is not prequalified or does not secure the contract. Detailed work information can be obtained from the concerned executive office on any working day.
