Tender Description
The School Education & Literacy Department through its Project Management & Implementation Unit (PMIU) SERP-II Sindh invites sealed bids for the provision of additional facilities and renovation works at existing Model High and Higher Secondary Schools in District Kambar Shahdadkot. This tender covers civil, plumbing, and electrical works including construction of classrooms, science labs, plumbing installations, electrification, and solar power systems at GBHS Kamber and GBHS Nasirabad schools.
The technical scope includes comprehensive civil works such as excavation, dismantling, plastering, flooring with glazed tiles and marble, brickwork, painting, waterproofing, and installation of steel doors and windows. Plumbing works involve installation of lead connections, sanitary fittings, UPVC piping, and water tanks. Electrical works cover wiring, installation of fans, switches, energy savers, earthing, and a solar hybrid grid system with batteries and inverters.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category C-5 or above with specialization codes EE04, CE09, and CE10. Valid electrical license for Sindh region, active taxpayer status on FBR/ATL, and proven experience with similar works of at least 80% of the estimated cost are mandatory. Financial soundness with average annual turnover matching the project cost and adequate technical staff and equipment are required.
The tender follows a single stage two-envelope bidding procedure. Technical bids will be opened on 25th May 2026 at 4:00 PM at the PMIU office in Karachi. Bids must be submitted electronically via the SPPRA portal by 3:30 PM on the same day. Earnest money of Rs. 2,750,000 is required. The contract duration is 365 days from the date of commencement.
Bidders are advised to carefully review the bidding documents, ensure timely submission, and comply with all eligibility and technical requirements.
