Tender Description
The Pakistan Navy Military Engineer Services (MES) invites applications for pre-qualification of contractors/firms at the CMES (Navy) COMCOAST Office located at PNS Karsaz Karachi. The deadline for pre-qualification applications is **18 Sep 2026 by 1500 hours**. Subsequently, tenders for the listed works and supplies will be issued to the pre-qualified firms/contractors. The final submission deadline for tenders is **25 Sep 2026 by 1130 hours**, with opening scheduled on the same day at 1200 hours.

- Provision of furniture for construction of community center for Marines at PNS Qasim
This procurement involves supplying furniture specifically for a community center under construction at PNS Qasim Karachi. Eligible firms must be on the approved list 'D' of MES contractors or other government departments with relevant experience. Contractors must furnish valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration certificates and bank statements as part of their application.
Firms not on the MES approved list must provide proof of registration on the appropriate departmental list, financial standing with bank certificates, details of employed staff, tools and plants, and previous experience for similar works executed in the last two years. All documentation must be attested by a Class-I Gazetted Officer.
Contractors not on the MES approved list or those suspended must deposit earnest money equal to 2% of the estimated cost in the form of FDR or Deposit At Call pledged to CMES (Navy) COMCOAST. This earnest money is refundable if the contractor is not pre-qualified or does not secure the contract.
Applications missing required information on the prescribed proforma will not be considered for tender issuance. The CMES (Navy) COMCOAST reserves the right to reject any or all bids or proposals without assigning reasons and is not obliged to justify rejections. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
Bidders are advised to carefully prepare their submissions with all required documents and ensure timely delivery before the deadlines. Early submission is recommended to avoid last-minute issues and to allow time for any clarifications.
