Provision and Installation of Air Conditioners of Various Capacities at Community Hall CATI Hyderabad

The Civil Aviation Training Institute, Hyderabad under Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) invites bids for the provision and installation of air conditioners of various capacities at the community hall, CATI Hyderabad. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and is open to eligible bidders registered on EPADS v2.0. The procurement method is National Single Stage-Two Envelope with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. Items being procured: - Wiring with 2 x 6 mm2 with ECC 2.5mm2 (132 RM) - Wiring with 3 x 6 mm2 with ECC 2.5mm2 (25 RM) - Supply and installation of 16 Amps 10kA Double Pole MCCB (4 Nos) - Supply and installation of 20 Amps 36kA Triple Pole MCCB (1 No) - Providing and installation of imported split type wall mounted 1.5 to 1.6 tons AC units (6 Nos) - Providing, installation, testing and commissioning of floor standing 3.8 to 4.3 tons AC unit (1 No) - Providing and installation of refrigerant copper pipe 1/4" & 1/2" (24 RM) - Providing and installation of refrigerant copper pipe 3/8" & 5/8" (45 RM) - Supply and fixing of 3/4" dia uPVC conduit (63 RM) The technical scope includes installation of imported air conditioning units (Acson, Daikin, Mitsubishi or equivalent), wiring with specified copper conductors in uPVC conduits, installation of MCCBs on recessed metal mounting boards, and piping for refrigerant and drainage. The site is the community hall at CATI Hyderabad Airport. The contract duration is 30 days after award. Eligibility criteria require bidders to have PEC license category C-6 with specialization codes EE-04 & ME-01, active tax payer status, valid electrical contractor license, and at least five years of relevant experience in installation, repair, and maintenance of wall mounted and floor standing AC units. Bidders must submit original bid security of PKR 150,000 in acceptable form and comply with all bidding instructions. Technical evaluation requires compliance with NEECA standards, non-inverter type units, stable operation at 55°C ambient, copper tubes with aluminum fins, refrigerant 410a, and availability of spare parts for 5 years. OEM or authorized representative must have service facility in Karachi. The bid submission deadline is Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 02:00 PM via EPADS v2.0 only. Manual submissions are not entertained. The technical bid will be opened at 02:30 PM the same day. The contract price is fixed and payments will be made in PKR. The performance guarantee is nil. The contract includes a 36-month maintenance period with phased release of security deposit. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure timely registration on EPADS v2.0 and upload all required documents including scanned CNIC, PEC license, ATL certificate, affidavit of non-blacklisting, and power of attorney.
