Provision and Installation of LED SMD with Sound System, Fire Extinguisher, VCB Installation, Fresh Water Supply, Furniture, ACs, Boundary Wall, and Jetty Rehabilitation Works at Various Naval Locations

The CMES (Navy) COMCOAST office at PNS Karsaz Karachi invites applications up to 26 October 2026 by 1500 hours for pre-qualification of contractors and firms. Following pre-qualification, tenders for various works and supplies must be submitted by 1130 hours on 04 November 2026 and will be opened at 1200 hours the same day. These works are for naval facilities in Karachi and Ormara, including coastal command tactical schools and naval garrisons. Items being procured: - Provision and installation of LED SMD with sound system and fire extinguisher for coastal command tactical school at PNS Qasim - Additional work for installation of VCB for 11 KVA battery charging points at south wharf ONH JNB Ormara - Supply of fresh water through bowzers for barracks at GE (N) Eastern Garrison - Provision of furniture for coastal command tactical school at PNS Qasim Manora - Provision and installation of floor and wall mounted ACs for coastal command tactical school at PNS Qasim Manora - Construction of pre-cast boundary wall with barbed wire on top watch tower-1 towards RO Plant at Sujwal base - Rehabilitation and replacement of damaged piles of floating jetty at LSS Jiwani The scope includes supply and installation of electrical and mechanical equipment, civil construction works including boundary wall and jetty rehabilitation, and provision of furniture and water supply services. Contractors must have valid Pakistan Engineering Council registration and demonstrate relevant experience. Firms on the approved list 'D' of MES contractors or other government departments with similar experience are eligible to apply. Financial standing and bank certificates are required. Contractors not on the MES approved list must deposit earnest money equal to 2% of the estimated cost as refundable security. Applications must include detailed information on previous works executed in the last two years, performance reports, and current work in hand, duly attested by a Class-I Gazetted Officer. The CMES (Navy) COMCOAST reserves the right to reject any or all bids prior to acceptance without justification but will communicate grounds for rejection upon request. Bidders are advised to carefully prepare their technical and financial bids and ensure timely submission to avoid disqualification. Early pre-qualification application submission is recommended to allow sufficient time for tender issuance and bid preparation.
