Tender Description
This tender invites bids in Islamabad from the National Book Foundation for the purchase of Punjab textbooks for the academic year 2026-27 under the Punjab Textbook Board. The procurement focuses on acquiring textbooks for various classes, ensuring quality and timely delivery to meet educational needs across Punjab.
The scope includes supply of textbooks printed and bound as per specifications provided by the Punjab Textbook Board. The National Book Foundation office in Islamabad will oversee the procurement process, ensuring compliance with quality standards and delivery schedules. The project demands careful coordination with printing presses and logistics to handle the volume and maintain textbook integrity.
Bidders must hold a valid PEC category relevant to printing and publishing, and be registered with FBR with an active ATL status for the fiscal year 2025-26. The tender requires submission of earnest money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) amounting to PKR 3,000. Compliance with all regulatory and financial requirements is mandatory to qualify for technical and financial evaluation.
The submission deadline is set for 23rd January 2026 by 11:00 AM, with technical bids opening at 11:30 AM on the same day at the National Book Foundation office, G-8/4, Islamabad. Bidders should prepare their documents carefully and submit sealed bids in accordance with the tender instructions.
Pro-Tip: Ensure to verify the exact stamp duty and earnest money requirements as stated in the newspaper advertisement, as these are commonly overlooked and can lead to disqualification. Also, register and submit bids through the official e-procurement system (www.eprocure.gov.pk) to avoid last-minute issues.
