Tender Description
The Punjab Institute of Neurosciences Lahore invites sealed tenders from financially sound, income tax and sales tax registered firms for the procurement of specialized medical equipment. This tender is specifically for the purchase of Deep Brain Stimulator (DBS) Implant Kits which are rechargeable. The procurement is to be conducted through the Punjab e-Procurement system, ensuring transparency and compliance with Punjab Procurement Rules 2014.
Items being procured:
- Deep Brain Stimulator (DBS) Implant Kit rechargeable (15 Nos @ Rs 06 million each)
This procurement involves high-value medical equipment intended for advanced neurological treatments. The DBS implant kits are critical for deep brain stimulation procedures and must meet stringent quality and technical specifications as outlined in the tender documents. The site of delivery and installation is the Punjab Institute of Neurosciences in Lahore, a leading medical facility specializing in neurological care.
Eligible bidders must be registered with FBR and have valid sales tax registration. Firms should be financially sound and capable of supplying high-tech medical devices. Experience in supplying similar medical equipment and compliance with all regulatory requirements is essential. The tender follows a single stage, two envelope procedure requiring separate technical and financial bids.
The last date for submission of tenders is the 6th of August 2026 by 10:30 AM, with the tender opening scheduled for the same day at 11:00 AM. Bidders must submit their bids online via the Punjab e-Procurement system and also provide a hard copy of the financial instrument as bid security. The bid security will only be released upon receipt of the hard copy.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure timely registration and familiarization with the Punjab e-Procurement portal to avoid last-minute technical issues. Also, carefully prepare the technical bid to meet all specifications to avoid disqualification during evaluation.
