Tender Description
The Federal Government Polyclinic Islamabad (FGPC-PGMI) invites bids for the purchase of electro-medical equipment specifically for the General Surgery Department under the PSDP project titled 'Strengthening and Up-Gradation of Cardiology and other Departments' for the financial years 2025-26 and 2026-27. This procurement is based in Islamabad Capital Territory and is managed by the Federal Government Polyclinic Islamabad. The technical scope includes a wide range of advanced electro-medical equipment such as 3D laparoscopic units, 4K laparoscopic towers, laparoscopic basic sets, vascular clamp sets, cautery machines, vessel sealer generators, orthopedic splints, self-retaining retractors, ligature hand pieces (both open and laparoscopic), portable ultrasound, nerve stimulators, blood warmers, choledochoscopes, dermatomes with accessories, flexible sigmoidoscopes, laser machines with accessories, laparoscopic bariatric sets, sterilization solution sprayers, heavy-duty suction machines, laparoscopic stapling guns, and open stapling guns. All equipment must comply with quality certifications such as FDA 510K, CE, MHLW, or ISO13485 for local instruments. The warranty period is three years with full spare parts coverage and planned preventive maintenance. Bidders must have a minimum of three years' experience supplying electro-medical equipment to public sector or tertiary care hospitals, valid PEC registration for biomedical engineers, and must submit financial statements and audit reports for the last three financial years. The bid submission deadline is **June 26, 2026, 09:00 AM** via EPADS v2.0, with manual submission of bid security at FGPC Islamabad. The technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 09:30 AM. The procurement follows a Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) method. Bidders are advised to carefully prepare their technical bids including all required documents such as technical brochures, quality certifications, and declarations. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure timely registration on EPADS v2.0 and to submit the original bid security physically before the deadline to avoid disqualification. This tender offers a significant opportunity for suppliers specializing in high-quality electro-medical equipment to serve a prestigious federal healthcare institution with a robust procurement framework and clear evaluation criteria.
