Tender Description
Pakistan Rangers (Punjab), headquartered at Zarrar Shaheed Road, Lahore, invites eligible bidders to participate in the procurement of line communication equipment for the fiscal year 2026-27 with funds reserved up to 30 June 2027. This procurement follows a corrigendum to tender no. PID (L) 236/26 dated 28 July 2026 and PID (L) 272/26 dated 31 July 2026, where the lot number-1 won by M/S Xplore Technologies has been re-tendered due to a change in cable specification from Ae Optical Fiber Cable Single mode to UG (DBC) Cable Single Mode.
Items being procured:
- 12 Core Optical Fiber Cable Single Mode Direct Buried G.652.D (191 Kms)
- 12 Core Optical Fiber Cable (CLT), Aerial ADSS (All Dielectric Self Supporting) Single mode fully compliant with ITU – TG.652.D standard (12 Kms)
- 6 Core Optical Fiber Cable Single Mode Direct Buried G.652.D (170 Kms)
- Joint Box Optical Fiber Cable 12/24 Port (158 Nos)
- 42U Rack (02 Nos)
The technical scope includes supply of optical fiber cables and related accessories compliant with international standards for deployment in communication infrastructure. Bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 and submit bids electronically through the EPADS portal only. Manual or hardcopy bids will not be accepted. The procurement will follow the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in accordance with Public Procurement Rules, 2004 and related regulations.
Bid security in the form of Pay Order, Call Deposit, or Demand Draft is required unless exempted, in which case a Bid Security Declaration must be furnished. Firms must deposit 2% earnest money in favor of Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) Security Fund, refundable after 30 June 2027.
