Tender Description
The Federal Government Polyclinic Islamabad (FGPC-PGMI) invites sealed bids through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 for the Re-Tender for Purchase of Medical Gases for the financial year 2026-27, with the possibility of extension. This procurement is specifically for the supply of medical gases and related services at FGPC located in Islamabad Capital Territory.
Items being procured include:
- Liquid Oxygen (Vacuum Insulated Evaporator (VIE) tank as per European standards) with an estimated quantity of 1,000,000 cubic meters
- Oxygen Cylinders MM 240 Cft 2000 PSI with valve and related devices, quantity 300 cylinders
- Nitrous Oxide Cylinders 16,200 liters with valve, quantity 200 kg
- Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Cylinders 30 kg with valve, quantity 50 cylinders
The scope includes supply, installation, maintenance, replacement of defective components, testing, calibration, and technical support for safe and uninterrupted operation of the medical gases and equipment on a free of cost (FOC) basis during the contract period. The supplier is also responsible for providing qualified technical staff and ensuring compliance with European standards and safety protocols.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to have valid registrations, minimum five years of experience supplying medical gases to public or tertiary care hospitals, valid explosive license, and financial capability with a minimum annual turnover of PKR 100 million. Bidders must submit bid security in the form of Call at Deposit and comply with all bidding document requirements.
The bidding process follows a Single Stage Two Envelope procedure with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS). Bids must be submitted online via EPADS v2.0 by **October 24, 2026, 10:00 AM**. Manual submissions will not be accepted. Bid opening will be conducted on the same day at 10:30 AM through EPADS v2.0.
