Rate Running Contract for Supply of Deformed Steel Bars ASTM A615 Grades 60 & 40 ksi

A Public Sector Organization invites sealed tenders from pre-qualified or existing suppliers and manufacturers for the conclusion of a Rate Running Contract for the supply of deformed steel bars on an ex-factory or warehouse basis near Karachi. The contract is for a duration of one year with rates subject to escalation or de-escalation every three months from the date of signing the contract. Items being procured: - Deformed steel bars conforming to ASTM A615 (Latest) of Grades 60 & 40 ksi (yield strength) - Size of bars: 6 mm to 25 mm - Approximate quantity: 300 Metric Tons The technical scope requires supply of steel bars meeting ASTM A615 standards with specified grades and sizes. The quantity may be increased or decreased as per requirement. Tender documents can be obtained during working hours Monday to Friday from the specified office with a pay order or demand draft of Rs. 2,000 (non-refundable) in favor of 'SECDEP EARN MONEY Classified'. Bid security of Rs. 1.00 Million is required and must be submitted along with the bid. Offers must remain valid for a minimum of 90 days. Bidders must submit two copies of the bid, one original and one photocopy, both sealed and pre-signed with the name of work clearly mentioned on the envelope. The competent authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or proposals at any time prior to acceptance.
