Tender Description
The Cantonment Board Jhelum invites electronic bids (E-Bids) from reputable and eligible firms for original and repair & maintenance works during the Financial Year 2026-27 based on the MRS Schedule of rates 2025. Bidders must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category and with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) as active taxpayers. The scope includes the following works:
- Re-carpeting of Lane No. 1 & 2 At Farooq Road Gul-Afshan Colony Jhelum Cantt
- Re-carpeting of Shami Road Jhelum Cantt
- Improvement / laying of main water supply network of Farooq Road, Khadim Hussain Road, Haq Nawaz Kiyani Road at Gul-Afshan Colony
- Conversion of 04x water filtration plants UV to RO system in Cantt area
- Construction of footpath at Haq Nawaz Kiyani Road Gul-Afshan Colony
- Repair / maintenance of Cantt fund buildings
- Repair / maintenance of Cantt Fund Roads
- Repair / maintenance of Sewerage / Drainage System
- Repair / maintenance of water Supply
- Repair / maintenance of Misc. Public Improvement
These works cover civil construction, road surfacing, water filtration system upgrades, footpath construction, and maintenance of buildings, roads, sewerage, and water supply systems within Jhelum Cantt. Firms blacklisted by any government or semi-government organization are not eligible. Earnest money of 2% of the estimated cost in the form of Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) is required. Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS V2.0 portal by 10-11-2026 at 12:00 PM. Technical and financial bids will be opened the same day at 2:00 PM. Manual bids are not entertained. Detailed terms, eligibility, and conditions are available in the bidding documents and on the procuring agency's website.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your scanned CDR and original CDR are uploaded correctly on EPADS before the deadline to avoid disqualification. Early registration on EPADS portal is recommended to resolve any technical issues in advance.
