Re-Tender for Out-Sourcing of Services for Disposal/Incineration of Infectious Waste and Sharps FY 2026-27 (Extendable)

The Federal Government Polyclinic Islamabad (FGPC-PGMI) invites bids through EPADS v2.0 for the re-tender of out-sourcing services for disposal and incineration of infectious waste and sharps for the financial year 2026-27, with the possibility of extension. This contract covers comprehensive infectious waste management including collection, transportation, incineration, and disposal in accordance with EPA and hospital waste management rules. Items being procured: - Out-sourcing services for disposal/incineration of infectious waste - Collection of infectious waste and sharps from FGPC collection points - Provision of human resource services for waste handling - Development and implementation of SOPs for hospital infectious waste management - Cleanliness and disinfection of waste collection points - Daily collection and weighing of waste with signed receipts The scope includes ensuring proper incineration with EPA-approved incinerators, availability of shredders, temperature-controlled vehicles for transportation, emission filtration systems, and waste water treatment if applicable. The contractor is responsible for any loss or damage to hospital property due to negligence and must maintain all related records. Eligibility requires EPA registration, minimum two years experience, financial stability, and compliance with all legal and technical requirements. Bids must be submitted online via EPADS v2.0 by 10:00 AM on October 24, 2026, with bid opening at 10:30 AM the same day. Manual bids are not accepted. A bid security in the form of Call at Deposit is required. Performance guarantee of 2% of contract price will be required from the successful bidder. The contract will be awarded on Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) basis. Bidders are advised to carefully review the detailed bidding documents available on EPADS and ensure compliance with all eligibility and technical criteria.
