Tender Description
Gujranwala Electric Power Company Limited (GEPCO) invites sealed tenders for the reclamation and replacement of damaged parts with new parts of 50-KVA irreparable damaged distribution transformers. This procurement is based on a single stage one envelope bidding procedure from registered or pre-qualified firms with a proven track record in manufacturing or new transforming and reclaiming of damaged irreparable transformers with DISCOs/NTDC/WAPDA standards. The transformers are to be reclaimed as per WAPDA specifications (DDS84:2020 amended) dated except amendment No.5, lying in R/Store (as and where basis) at the Regional Store GEPCO, 132-KV Grid Station Shaheenabad, Gujranwala.
Items being procured:
- Reclamation & Replacement of damaged parts with new parts of 50-KVA irreparable damaged distribution transformers
The scope includes reclaiming damaged parts such as oil, less copper, damaged tubes, defective bodies, and other components to meet WAPDA PEPCO specifications. The transformers will be delivered free at the Regional Store.
Eligibility requires bidders to be registered and pre-qualified firms with relevant experience and must provide a Bid Guarantee/CDR of Rs. 640,000. The bid should remain valid for 120 days from the tender opening date and accompany a Bid Guarantee/CDR not less than the mentioned amount valid for 150 days issued by any Scheduled Bank of Pakistan. Bidders must be active taxpayers on the ATL of FBR Government of Pakistan. Conditional tenders or tenders without Bid Guarantee will not be accepted.
Tender documents can be obtained from the E-PADS/PPRRA website www.epcource.gov.pk. Bids must be submitted through E-PADS and manual bids also to the office of the undersigned. The tender opening date and time is 03-09-2026 at 11:30 AM, with submission deadline at 11:00 AM the same day.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your Bid Guarantee/CDR is valid for at least 150 days and that your firm is listed on the active taxpayers list to avoid disqualification. Also, submit bids both electronically and manually as required to comply fully with submission rules.
