Procurement of Machinery, Equipment, and Breeding Materials for Livestock & Dairy Development in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The Livestock & Dairy Development Department (Research Wing) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa invites eligible firms and suppliers registered with relevant tax authorities to submit E-bids through EPADS (https://kp.eprocure.gov.pk) for procurement under various developmental schemes. The procurement is focused on enhancing livestock research and dairy sector development across multiple districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Swabi, D.I. Khan, Balogram Swat, and other feasible districts. Items being procured: - Purchase of Machinery and Equipment for Research Trials on Saanen Goat Breed - Elite Saanen Breed Semen/Germplasm - Dairy and other equipment for Dairy Sector Development in Tehsil Swabi - Provision and Installation of Prefabricated 80'x34' Elevated Iron Truss Shade with concrete flooring at LR&DS, Swabi on Turnkey basis - Provision and Installation of Prefabricated Microbial Culture Room in Animal Health Lab at LR&DS, Swabi - 6 KVA Hybrid Energization Systems (Complete) - Purchase of Machinery and Equipment for Research Studies on Adaptation of Bhag Nari (Cattle Breed) in D.I. Khan - Purchase of Machinery and Equipment for Climate Smart Fodder & Forages Production - Purchase of Machinery and Equipment for Equipment for VR&DIC Balogram Swat under KSA/SFD Malakand Infrastructure Project - Purchase of Machinery and Equipment for Genetic Improvement of Saanen Goats Through Modern Reproductive Technologies - Purchase of Elite Exotic Saanen goat/buck - Elite Saanen breed Semen/Germplasm - Purchase of Machinery and Equipment and Purchase of Yak for Enhancement of Yak Production Performance The technical scope includes advanced machinery, breeding materials, and infrastructure installation to support livestock research and dairy development. Bidders must be registered with FBR (Income Tax and Sales Tax) and KPRA if applicable, active on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL), have relevant experience in supplying similar goods, and provide valid manufacturer authorization for branded or technical equipment. Each bid must be accompanied by 2% bid security in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) issued by scheduled banks in favor of the Director General (Research), Livestock & Dairy Development Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The original CDR must be submitted before the bid opening date. Bidding documents, specifications, and terms & conditions are available on EPADS and can be viewed at the office during working hours. Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS on or before the closing date and time. Technical bids will be opened electronically at 11:00 am on 26/10/2026 in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Financial bids of technically qualified firms will be opened after evaluation. Bidders are advised to carefully prepare their bids ensuring compliance with all eligibility criteria and submission requirements to avoid disqualification.
