Re-Construction and Improvement of Roads in Rawalpindi by Punjab Highway Department

The Punjab Highway Department invites tenders for the re-construction and improvement of various road sections in Rawalpindi district. The works include rehabilitation and improvement of roads from Judicial Complex to Buchial Village, Tehsil Gujar Khan (4.4 Km), construction and improvement of road from Keral to Heelan Union Council Punjjar, Tehsil Kahuta (12 Km), reconstruction and widening improvement of road Ghungriala to Tharjal, Tehsil Gujar Khan (4.1 Km), road improvement from Lehri to Salang Tehsil Kahuta (2.00 Km), and road improvement of road Mouta to Topya, District Rawalpindi (1.00 Km). Items being procured: - Re-construction / Improvement / Rehabilitation of Road from Judicial Complex to Buchial Village, Tehsil Gujar Khan (4.4 Km) - Construction / Improvement of Road from Keral to Heelan Union Council Punjjar, Tehsil Kahuta (12 Km) - Reconstruction / Widening / Improvement of Road Ghungriala to Tharjal, Tehsil Gujar Khan, District Rawalpindi (4.1 Km) - Road to Lehri to Salang Tehsil Kahuta (2.00 Km) - Reconstruction / Improvement of Road Mouta to Topya, District Rawalpindi (1.00 Km) The scope includes civil works for road rehabilitation and widening, with a completion period of 6 months for each lot. Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category and with the Punjab PPRA website. Bid security of 5% of the estimated cost must be submitted digitally through the Punjab e-Procurement System. Performance Guarantee of 10% of the contract amount is mandatory within 15 days of receipt of the letter of award. Bidders must submit all documents and guarantees digitally; no manual or physical submissions will be accepted. The tender closing date and time is 08-10-2026 at 11:00 AM. Bids will be opened on the same day. Joint ventures are not permitted.
