Rehabilitation Work of Control House Building and Switch Yard and Construction of Tube Well/Pump House Including Boring at 132 KV Grid Station AMC Abbottabad

The Hazara Electric Supply Company (HAZECO) invites bids for the rehabilitation work of the control house building and switch yard, along with the construction of a tube well/pump house including boring at the 132 KV Grid Station AMC Abbottabad. This procurement is specifically for the Abbottabad district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The project involves comprehensive civil and mechanical works as detailed in the bidding documents. Items being procured: - Excavation in shingle or gravel formation & rock not requiring blasting undressed up to 50 m - Cement concrete plain using sand, crush including placing and compacting (ratios 1:4:8, 1:2:4, 1:3:6) - RCC work using coarse sand including labor and materials except steel - Supply and fixing of intermediate bar mould steel deformed bar reinforcement - Filling, watering and ramming earth under floor - Distempering 3-coat over new surface including off white color finishing - Weather shield paint 3-coat on new cement surface - Painting of doors in light smoke grey 3-coat plastic emulsion paint - Cement sand plaster 20mm thick in 1:4 ratio - Fixing of galvanized strap flat and batten or tee iron platforms - Fixing RCC pre-stressed trench covers - Supply and erection of ceiling fans including wiring and regulators - Fixing exhaust fans - Fixing fluorescent tube canopy with choke starter - Supply and spreading crushed stone or waterborne gravel 20mm size - White washing 3-coats - Dismantling of glazed or encaustic tiles - Dressing and leveling of earthwork - Dismantling of cement concrete - Fixing brass or gun metal pet wall gl or wi - Fixing white glazed earthenware water closet, flushing cistern, wash hand basin, pedestal, soap dish, towel rail - Boring for tubewells in all water bearing soils up to 30m depth and beyond - Providing and placing cement sand grout around blind pipe and bore hole - Shrouding and filling around strainer/blind pipe with graded bajri - Furnishing water samples from bore hole - Excavation in foundation of buildings and other structures - Pacca brick work in foundation, plinth and ground floor - Steel door and window fixing - Wiring for lights, fans, and plug points - Weather shield and distemper painting - Supply and fixing of column pipes, PVC pipes, submersible pump, installation and commissioning - Rock wall with marble chips exterior surface finishing The technical scope includes excavation, concrete works, RCC, steel reinforcement, plumbing, electrical wiring, and installation of pumps and fans at the site. The site is located at the 132 KV Grid Station AMC Abbottabad. Eligibility criteria require bidders to have PEC registration category C-6 & above with specialization codes CE-10, CE-09, EE-11, five years of construction experience, and completion of at least two civil contracts of similar nature within the last five years. Financial records for the last three years audited by ICAP registered firms must be submitted. Bidders quoting 10% below the engineer's estimate must submit an additional 2% bid security.
