Rehabilitation and Electrification of Primary Schools in Shikarpur and Kashmore Districts

The Education Works (E) Division Larkano is procuring rehabilitation and electrification works for five existing primary schools located in the districts of Shikarpur and Kashmore, specifically at GBPS Qaimuddin Chachar, GBPS Tagio Khan Jafferi, GBPS Allah Jeewayo Khan, GBPS Allah Wadhayo Chachar, and GBPS Miral Jafferi. This project involves comprehensive electrical wiring, installation of circuit breakers, ceiling fans, switches, and earthing sets to upgrade the electrical infrastructure of these schools. The technical scope includes wiring for light and fan points using PVC insulated wires, laying of main and sub-main copper conductors in PVC conduits, fixing of Bakelite ceiling roses, brass batten holders, circuit breakers of various ratings, switches, plug sockets, electric ceiling fans, ammeters, voltmeters, and earthing sets with excavation and salt mixing for proper grounding. The work will be executed at multiple school sites within the specified districts, ensuring compliance with the standard bidding documents of SPPRA and the ADP funding guidelines for the financial year 2025-26. Eligible bidders must possess a valid NTN certificate, professional tax registration, and registration with Sindh Revenue Board and FBR. They should also hold a valid Electric Inspectorate License for the concerned region and demonstrate experience in similar works executed within the last five years, including at least one project with a minimum cost of 80% of the estimated cost or two projects each with 50% of the estimated cost. An average annual financial turnover not less than the project cost over the last five years is mandatory. Bidders must submit a properly sealed envelope containing the bid security of 5% of the estimated cost and ensure all rates are quoted in figures and words with proper signatures and stamps. The tender documents are available at the office of the Executive Engineer, Education Works Electrical Division Larkano, near the High Court Building on CMC Road. The deadline for bid submission is seven days after the publish date, with bids to be opened at the same office.
