Tender Description
The Punjab Highways Department invites bids for the rehabilitation and improvement of the metalled road from Mian Pakhi to Chak No. 1986 Vehari with a road length of 4.20 KM in Vehari city. This tender is open to engineering firms and contractors registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) under the relevant category and holding a valid PEC license for the financial year 2026-27.
Items being procured:
- Rehabilitation and improvement of metalled road from Mian Pakhi to Chak No. 1986 Vehari, road length 4.20 KM
The scope of work includes rigid pavement and RCC drain work using concrete batching plant and concrete paving machine. Surfacing shall be executed by mechanized system including TST/DST. Contractors must submit their claims electronically through the Digital Measurement Book. The completion period for this project is 60 days.
Eligibility criteria require contractors to be registered on the Punjab e-Procurement System (https://ep.punjab.gov.pk) and submit bid security equal to 5% of the estimated cost via online payment through the Punjab e-Procurement System linked with Bank of Punjab. Physical bid securities such as CDR, Pay Order, or Demand Draft will not be accepted. The lowest evaluated bidder must submit a performance guarantee of 10% of the contract amount in favor of the Executive Engineer Highways Division Vehari.
Bidders are advised to quote item rates against each item and total amount in the financial proposal. Any discrepancy between item total and grand total will be resolved in favor of item rates. Fake documents or PEC license will lead to disqualification and disciplinary action.
The tender opening will be held on 07-10-2026 at 11:30 AM at the office of the Commissioner Multan Division, Multan. Bidders may attend the opening after uploading bids on the Punjab e-Procurement portal. The URL of the PPRA website is https://eproc.punjab.gov.pk/viewtender.asps.
