Tender Description
The Punjab Highway Department invites tenders from engineering firms and contractors registered with Pakistan Engineering Council and registered on the Punjab PPRA website for rehabilitation and improvement works of roads in Sheikhupura district. The tenders are for three specific road improvement schemes:
- Rehabilitation / Improvement of Road from Abu Bakar Chowk to Baba Lal Shah Chowk Manawala in Tehsil and District Sheikhupura (Estimated Cost Rs. 71.461 Million, Earnest Money Rs. 3.573 Million)
- Rehabilitation / Improvement of Road from Lahore Faisalabad at Feroz Wattan to Gulla Wattan in Tehsil and District Sheikhupura (Estimated Cost Rs. 87.631 Million, Earnest Money Rs. 4.381 Million)
- Rehabilitation / Improvement of Metalled Road from Sheikhupura Murdike Road to Qila Bhattian Wala Village Length 1.00 KM in Tehsil Murdike District Sheikhupura (Estimated Cost Rs. 52.326 Million, Earnest Money Rs. 2.616 Million)
The works are to be completed within 4 months. Bidders must submit 5% earnest money of the estimated cost and submit bids on the Punjab PPRA e-procurement portal before the closing date and time. Performance security of 10% of the bid amount is required in the form of CDR, Bank Draft, or Bank Guarantee valid for 03 months beyond the completion time. Bids will be opened on 30th September 2026 at 01:00 PM in the presence of bidders or their representatives. Contractors must be registered with PEC and FBR and comply with PPRA rules. Late or incomplete bids will be rejected. All claims should be submitted electronically. The schemes will be executed under deposit work of the Municipal Committee and Zila Council for Sheikhupura district.
