Rehabilitation and Reconstruction of Internal Streets at Different Wards in UC-01 Lyari, District South, Karachi

The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) Engineering Department invites bids for the Rehabilitation and Reconstruction of Internal Streets at different wards in UC-01 Lyari, District South, Karachi. This tender is issued under the Single Stage One Envelope Procedure and funded through KMC's own funds. The project involves comprehensive civil works including dismantling of existing cement concrete, earth excavation, cartage of materials, cement concrete works, paving block flooring, repair of leakages in RCC and MS pipelines, raising of sewerage manholes, excavation and laying of sewerage and water supply pipelines, and installation of sluice valves and fittings. Items being procured: - Dismantling of cement concrete 1:2:4 work - Earth excavation and cartage of materials - Cement concrete plain works - Cement paving blocks flooring - Repair of leakages in RCC and MS pipelines - Raising of existing sewerage manholes/service chambers - Excavation for sewerage pipelines and disposal of surplus earth - Providing and laying aggregate base course - Pumping out water from trenches - Laying and fixing RCC pipes of various diameters - Construction of manholes and inspection chambers - Cleaning inside sewerage lines - Manufacturing and supplying RCC manhole covers - Excavation for PE pipe work in trenches - Providing and fixing HDPE pipes and fittings - Providing and fixing sluice valves and accessories - Laying PVC pipes and fixing chambers for sluice valves The technical scope covers all civil and pipeline works as per specifications and drawings provided by KMC. Bidders must be registered with PEC in the relevant category and provide evidence of financial stability, technical capability, and experience in similar works. Bid security of 5% of the estimated cost is required in the form of Pay Order/CDR/Bank Guarantee. Bids must be submitted electronically via the SPPRA e-Procurement System (EPADS) by 03-09-2026 at 11:00 AM. The bids will be opened online on the same day at 11:30 AM.
