Rehabilitation and Solarization of Bungalows No. B-9, B-10 & B-11 for Establishment of WAPDA Schools, CRBC WAPDA Staff Colony, D.I.Khan

The Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) through its CRBC (Lift Cum Gravity) Project invites sealed bids for the Rehabilitation and Solarization of Bungalows No. B-9, B-10 & B-11 located at CRBC WAPDA Staff Colony, Dera Ismail Khan. This procurement is for the establishment of WAPDA Schools in the colony and involves civil works and solarization. Items being procured: - Distempering of walls (2946.05 sqm, two coats) - Painting of iron bars, gates, gratings (31.23 sqm, two coats) - Cement plaster/grouting (599.44 sqm) - Brick work (8.6 cum) - Cement plaster (332.48 sqm) - Wood work repairing/restoration of doors (157.5 sft) - Supply and erection of AC ceiling fans (21 units, 30 watts) - Supply of 18 watts bulbs (18 units) - Supply of 12 watts bulbs (36 units) - Point wiring for fans (20 points) - Point wiring for lights/bulbs (50 points) - Installation of white glazed earthenware water closets (1 European type, 8 Indian type) - Installation of hand wash basins and pedestals (9 basins, 1 pedestal) - Installation of looking glasses (6 units) - Supply and fixing of CP piller cocks, stop cocks, bib taps, waste couplings, waste pipes, connections, CI brackets, brass ball valves, CP tee stop cocks, nipples, P traps, floor traps, gully traps, PVC pipes, PPRC pipelines of various diameters - Repair and replacement of doors hardware including sliding bolts, tower bolts, brass spring hinges - Boring for tubewells and installation of PVC strainer pipes - Supply and fixing of 2.0 HP deep well water pump - Supply and fixing of polyethylene/fiberglass water tank (500 gallons) - Installation and commissioning of a complete 6 kW On-Grid Solar Photovoltaic (PV) System without batteries - Replacement of broken glass panes (22.3 sqm) The technical scope includes all civil rehabilitation works, electrical wiring, plumbing, and solar system installation as per WAPDA standards and specifications. The work site is at WAPDA Staff Colony, Dera Ismail Khan. Eligibility criteria require firms to have at least 2 years of general construction experience and completion of at least 2 similar works. Bidders must be registered with NADRA, FBR, PEC, and KPRA as applicable. The bidding process follows a National Single Stage-One Envelope procedure using Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS). Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by Monday, September 14, 2026 at 10:30 AM. Manual bids will not be accepted. Bid security of PKR 70,000 in the form of Call at Deposit is required. The contract duration is 30 days from commencement. Performance guarantee of 10% of contract price is required. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject all bids.
