Tender Description
The Punjab Highways Department invites tenders from registered Engineering Firms and Contractors for the rehabilitation, reconstruction, and widening of the road from Arifwala to Bypass Multan Chowk via Basti Hafizabad, Basti Jatowala, and Chishti Chungi Road along with Khalid Maqbool Park Road in Tehsil and District Bahawalnagar. The total length of the project is 5.40 km.
Items being procured:
- Rehabilitation/Re-Construction/Widening of road from Arifwala to Bypass Multan Chowk via Basti Hafizabad, Basti Jatowala and link Chishti Chungi road
- Khalid Maqbool Park road
The project completion period is 6 months as per CEHS letter No. 378/Plg dated 17.09.2026. Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category and have a valid PEC license for the financial year 2026-27. Registration on the Punjab PPA website is mandatory. A bid security equal to 5% of the estimated cost must be submitted through digital online payment via the Punjab e-Procurement System or in the form of CDR, Bank Draft, Cashier Cheque, Pay Order, or Bank Guarantee valid for 3 months beyond the completion time.
Performance Guarantee at 10% of the contract amount is required within 15 days of receipt of the offer letter. Rates quoted below or above the estimated DNIT cost will not be accepted. Bidders must quote item rates and total amounts in the financial proposal. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject bids under Clause-35 of PPRA Rules 2014.
The tender opening date and time is 14-10-2026 at 13:00 hours (01:00 PM) at the office of the Commissioner Bahawalpur. All responsive bids will be downloaded and quoted rates announced in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee.
