The Highway Division Bahawalnagar invites contractors and firms to participate in the tender for the rehabilitation and widening of the road from Arifwala Road to Bypass Multani Chowk via Basti Hafizabad, Basti Jatowala and link Chishtian Chungi Road along with Khalid Maqbool Park Road in Tehsil and District Bahawalnagar. The total length of the road is 5.40 km. Items being procured: - Rehabilitation and widening of road from Arifwala Road to Bypass Multani Chowk - Works on Basti Hafizabad - Works on Basti Jatowala - Link Chishtian Chungi Road - Khalid Maqbool Park Road The technical scope includes road construction and widening works as per the detailed scheme. Contractors must submit a Performance Security/Guarantee of 10% of the contract amount within 15 days of receipt of the offer letter. This security must be valid for 3 months beyond the completion or extended completion time. Submission of the Performance Security/Guarantee is mandatory for all successful bidders irrespective of the estimated or contract amount. The Performance Security/Guarantee can be submitted either through digital online payment via the Punjab e-Procurement system (linked with BOP) or in the form of CDR, Bank Draft, Cashier Cheque, Pay Order, or Bank Guarantee in favor of the Executive Engineer Highway Division Bahawalnagar. Bidders are advised to carefully read the clause 56 of PPRA Rule, 2014 regarding Performance Security. No other form of security will be accepted or entertained.
